ePlayer Options Panel |
The ePlayer Options panel allows you to set the ePlayer speed, choose whether to superimpose entries, to run a script during play, and to save Workspace changes during play.
To open the ePlayer Options panel, you can:
Choose ePlayer → Options in the Project Table panel.
Controls in the ePlayer Options panel allow you to specify what sort of superposition, if any, is to be used to position the incoming selected entries into the Workspace.
The General section contains controls for the speed of play and for saving the Workspace at each step during continuous play. You can set the speed in seconds per entry. If you select Save Workspace at each step, each entry will be saved as it is displayed during continuous play. This action might change the coordinates of the entry. If you are stepping through the entries manually, the usual Workspace synchronization options are in effect.
These options allow you to choose how to superimpose the entries. If the entries are conformers, superposition is performed on the atoms in the same way as in the Superposition panel. If the entries are not conformers, the centroids of the entries are superimposed by a simple translation.
No superposition is performed.
Perform a superposition of the current entry on the previous entry.
Perform a superposition of the current entry on the reference entry. You can specify the reference entry by entering its name in the text box, or by clicking Choose and choosing an entry from the list in the Choose Entry dialog box. The reference entry does not have to be one of the selected entries, and it does not have to be included in the Workspace.
These options allow you to execute a script for each entry that is displayed in the Workspace during ePlayer operations. If you have selected the option or set a preference to save Workspace changes, the changes made by the script are saved.
Note: You should not include in your script any command that operates on all selected entries, or that change the inclusion state of the entries.
Do not run a script.
Run the script that is currently loaded in the Command Script Editor panel. You can open this panel by clicking the Edit button, which is dimmed until you select this option.
Read a script from a file and run it at each step. You can enter the file name for the script in the text box or browse to it using the Browse button. This script is not loaded into the Command Script Editor panel when it is read.
