Saving and Restoring the View |
When you rotate, translate, or zoom in on the structures in the Workspace, the
actual coordinates of the structures are not changed, only the view of the
structures is changed: the "camera angle". Maestro stores the current
view as a transformation that is applied to the coordinates.
You can save a particular view of the structures by clicking the Save button on the
Saved Views toolbar
,
and restore a saved view by clicking one of the other toolbar buttons
(Previous, Next or a
view number).
Saved views are part of the project, and can be imported or exported. You can also make a movie out of a sequence of views. See the Manage Views Panel topic for more information.
To restore the default view of the Workspace, you can
choose View → Reset or
click the Reset button on the
View toolbar.
This action resets the rotation, translation, and zoom of the Workspace to the
default state, which has the screen axes along the coordinate axes of the
Workspace structures.
