Definition and Usage

The Enabled property is used to set or return the whether or not the ListItem is enabled by default.

If this property is set to TRUE the ListItem is Enabled by default, otherwise FALSE. Default is TRUE.

Syntax

<asp:ListItem Enabled="True|False" runat="server" />

Example

The following example disables a ListItem in a ListBox control:

<asp:ListBox runat="server">
<asp:ListItem Text="Item1" Enabled="False"/>
<asp:ListItem Text="Item2" />
</asp:ListBox>
